Mill Creek is one of our local creeks in Fayetteville, WV. It is a relatively fun, mellow creek compared to Manns, Wolf, Keeneys. That being said, Mill still has some serious rapids with high consequences. In February 2010 Mill got rain while all the other creeks in the area received snowfall, so Mill was the only thing running! Mill is roadside, and perfect for multiple laps.
There's no online gauge for Mill, but if you see the local creeks spiking it's worth driving down to check the flow. The level can be found often on BT as well. The top half of the creek is a perfect creek to learn how to boof, with all its slides and bedrock drops. The second half of the run, from the Falls down, gets much more bouldery and technical, and is sold class 5.
