Well the excitement is growing, I arrived in Thun with out any of my luggage… a familiar feeling for a lot of paddlers hear. As athlete after athlete arrives, my hugs only grow stronger. WORLDS it really does bring the Freestyle community together. Happy times.
Wavesport Projects everywhere!!!! LOVE it green, blues, reds, yellow and organs. Like Lego covering the pavement.
The wave is not in yet. They are building the scaffolding in the water. Swiss men in orange t-shirts and green overalls everywhere, sweating it out to get it done as tomorrow the wave is scheduled to be in, and PRACTICE BEGINS!!!!
I am super excited to have some rides on the wave, having never competed before on the feature my first session will be gear towards learning how to set up on the wave.
I think I will get up super early 5:00am and get out before the first scheduled country slot and have a session. Then watch my fellow Wavesport team member Bryan Kirk, Johnny Myers and Elaine Campbell during their USA time slot before mine which is at 6:45pm.
Hear are some picture of Thun, in all it’s grace, truly an amazing city!!! Romance plus!
