White Water Grand Prix photo look back

Without a doubt the Highlight of 2011 was the White Water Grand Prix. As a competitor it was more then I could have imagined, in so many ways, but even for the spectators this event took everyone by surprise. Everything seemed to be firing for event organiser Patrick Camblin; the water levels were…

Colorado Winter Update

After unfortunate cancelling trip to Mexico for kayaking and keeping the ticket for this year, our plan B was for some reason Colorado right away. Beautiful mountains, good lifestyle, friendly people and a lot of snow. I totally loved Colorado and its lifestyle anytime I was here kayaking so it was probably time to check what is going on here in winter. I know its unusual for a whitewater athlete to post pictures from ski&snb sessions but thats whats going on…

Lake Creek pics

When I posted video called My Home I called Pine creek rapid my home run. It is true but its easy, accessable, convenience and fun run. In this blogpost I would love to introduce you some of my best home runs ever called Lake creek. It flows in valley next to the road no. 82 called Independence Pass. Most of the summer its really high and running bottom section would be pretty hard core. You can run upper section though and it includes some fun class IV-V…

Lyons Outdoor Games - Steep Creek Race

The South St. Vrain Creek race was quit a unique one for 2010. First, sweltering weather spiked all the CO creeks. Then it rained for 4 days straight, bringing the Narrows race course up to a level that no one wanted any part of. Luckily, the section just upstream of the Narrows was still not too high, although it was pretty pushy. After the 1st run of the course the organizers, safety crew, and some of the racers decided to call it a day because of the burly flows and cold… Continue

Mill Creek, WV POV

Mill Creek is one of our local creeks in Fayetteville, WV. It is a relatively fun, mellow creek compared to Manns, Wolf, Keeneys. That being said, Mill still has some serious rapids with high consequences. In February 2010 Mill got rain while all the other creeks in the area received snowfall, so Mill was the only thing running! Mill is roadside, and perfect for multiple laps.

A dual run of Mill Creek Falls:…
