So if you haven't heard already the Project X is where it's at. This boat is the best playboat I've ever paddled, hands down! Lately I've been paddling a lot with Bryan Kirk on the Upper Gauley and hitting up all of the little holes along the way. Wanting to get the X out on a wave lead us to Diagonal Ledges on the Lower, we liked! Here's a little video I put together of Bryan getting his groove on at Diagonal Ledges,… Continue
Rain, rain, and more rain brought the water level of the Ottawa River to the bring of spring flood. The ottawa river locals put themselves on Stakeout watch for the slowly approaching high water Bus Eater Wave. The level never quite got to prime but the 'almost' Bus level had to be surfed.
This was my first time surfing a sizeable wave in the new Project X and good times were certainly had. A small crowd gathered to…
About the time that I finally figured out how to get past the third end in a cartwheel, the word on the river was that “cartwheels are out,
loops and ariels are in.” Wouldn’t you know once again I would be a move behind when it comes to playboating. Gauley Fest is just hours away, and the 2011 Wave Sport Project X playboat is on its way up to take on West Virginia's finest.
Get ramped up with the first view of the full Wave Sport Project X video, featuring Bryan Kirk showing off the full capabilities of this beast. Then join us at Gauley, hit the water, and see it for yourself. We'll have 3 Project X's all over the river both days.
Bryan Kirk, Team Wave Sport, and the Project X will be all over the Gauley this weekend. In addition to Gomer's Hole / Geek Wave, the Project X will be showing off its freestyle prowess on the Bat Wave/Hungry Mother playspots.
From Bryan Kirk - "Bat Wave/Hungry Mother - After Pillow rapid, these 2 playspots are real close together. Bat wave is a small, fun wavehole for loops. Hungry mother is a very sticky hole for all the hole moves, but can be a little munchy. Very…

Check back for more details as we move closer.
This could be you :-) Unless you can't do that… Continue
