Josh Wedgwood has not received any gifts yet
I have been around kayaks and canoes as long as I remember. One of my first experiences was at PGL. I loved paddling so much that I saved up and bought my first playboat. At the time it was way too big for me to pull any moves but quickly gave me a passion for freestyle.
For the last 3 years I have been training with Kayakojacko coaching team, through this I have progressed to the standard that I am on the Great Britain Freestyle Kayaking Squad. This is my second year on the squad. I regularly train with the team and compete in events across the UK. I aim to compete in the 2012 European Championships. I often paddle at Hurley Weir and Nottingham White Water Centre but also further afield. Last year I travelled to Canada to paddle the Ottawa River and surrounding waves.
I am sponsored by PGL Travel Ltd. PGL are the leading provider of activity holidays and courses for schools, youth groups and individuals. I am also supported by Canoe Kayak Store, based at Cardiff White Water Centre and Damery, Gloucestershire. Recently I have become a Wavesport Ambassador, see me paddling my new ProjectX at events across the UK! See www.pgl.co.uk, www.canoeandkayakstore.co.uk and www.wavesport.com for more details.
On Canoe Kayak Magazine’s Website, I blog regularly. To follow my kayaking travels visit:

Why all the stress? The 2013 Freestyle Kayaking World Championships of course!…

Hurley holds a special place in my kayaking heart. It is where I did my first loop, my first GB selections and where met a lot of my paddling pals. For the 109 competitors at the classic this year, I am sure…Continue
