Living in Readsboro, VT has so many whitewater options. My favorite is the WB of the Deerfield. This section runs with snow melt and rain. A big thunderstorm rolled in Wednesday night and dropped like 5 inches of rain in the area. I checked the level first thing in the morning and it was running at a great medium level. We put on and it was 2 feet. My Recon 70 kills it on this run! Check out the video of my Recon 70 in action!…Continue

I put together a video of a day paddling at Hole Brothers in NY using my Wave Sport Mobius 49 and some squirt boating at Consumption Junction on the Deerfield River in MA. I'm finally getting this squirt boating thing sorted out. I wish I started this years ago because I live like 30 minutes away from an amazing squirt spot.
The Zoar Outdoor Demo Fest begins tomorrow so I'll be there in the Wave Sport booth and will be helping out with mini clinics. There's still some…Continue

May has been a pretty fun month for me. I got to paddle a bunch so that was pretty sweet, I turned 34, found out I'm going to be an aunt, and my best friends had a beautiful baby girl! It's been a good month!
The month started off with working a few events. I went to the Saratoga Springs and Old Forge, NY Paddle Festivals. It was fun talking to people about the sport of kayaking and getting them into the right kayak that best suits their needs. There was a SUP race at…Continue

Here's what's been going on in the world of the Campbell's.
We went to the New England Triple Crown a couple of weeks ago. The Triple Crown has usually been a successful event for me but not this year. I'm not sure if it was lack of paddling or if I just wasn't into competing that day or if it was the swim in cold ass water. Whatever it was, it was not a good day for me. I took a swim out of my wild water boat with my wing paddle, towards the end of the race. I wound up…Continue

The new year started off pretty good with a bunch of rain and we got to go kayaking for a few days. Then winter fully kicked into gear with ridiculously cold weather and snow. Jeff and I spent our time going to pool sessions, xc skiing, snowshoeing and snowboarding. I worked another season at Timber Creek Cross and Jeff worked his regular job and played music at a few different places in the area.
As I mentioned before it was cold, I have never seen so much ice on the…Continue
