The season is slowly coming to an end for me. We are back in VT full time now and doing some house and yard work before winter is here. The good news is we should have enough wood to keep us warm! The winter toys are ready to be busted out and played with. We should have another month or so of paddling before the winter season kicks in. It’s been another great year and can’t wait for next!
Here’s a video and photos from this past week of paddling in VT with my Recon…Continue

I love the backstab but I have a habit of neglecting this trick. I tend to land a trick backwards and will spin myself forward right away. When I do that I yell at myself to do a damn backstab you moron! It’s a bad habit that I’m breaking. It really is a sweet trick and when you do it right it’s such an awesome feeling.

August has been an awesome month. Lot's of great paddling and hanging out with family and friends. I've spent most of the month on Lake Ontario and paddling at Hole Brothers.
I split my Labor Day weekend sailing with Jeff and paddling. I went to Beaver Fest to paddle Moshier Falls with a bunch of great friends and Team Z. It's such a fun run that only releases one day a year so it's a big deal and lot's of boaters show up. I was excited to see so many boaters paddling in…Continue

July has been a busy month with events and traveling. It kicked off with the Deerfield River Fest in MA. I set up a booth for Wave Sport right next to the NRS booth which was run by Blake. We had lots of visitors just chilling out in our booths and Kenny brought cake so it was a good night! Confluence Outdoors donated a couple boats for the Silent Auction. Maui Jim, KEEN, Accent Paddles, and Zoar Outdoor all donated to American Whitewater for the Silent Auction. Even I donated a free…Continue

Living in Readsboro, VT has so many whitewater options. My favorite is the WB of the Deerfield. This section runs with snow melt and rain. A big thunderstorm rolled in Wednesday night and dropped like 5 inches of rain in the area. I checked the level first thing in the morning and it was running at a great medium level. We put on and it was 2 feet. My Recon 70 kills it on this run! Check out the video of my Recon 70 in action!…Continue
